\"\"Islamabad, 30 July 2026 \u2014 Sardar Waqar Shahzad, Advocate, hosted a distinguished luncheon at Serena Hotel, Islamabad, in honour of H.E. Mr. Rudolph Pierre Jordaan, High Commissioner of South Africa to Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The event was also attended by Mr. Syed Qamar Raza, Chairman, Board of Governors, Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF), H.E. Dr. Emmanuel R. Fernandez, Ambassador of the Philippines, and Ms. Misbah Khar, Advisor to the Chairman Senate.<\/p>\n

In his welcome address, Sardar Waqar Shahzad said:<\/p>\n

“Pakistan values its friendship with South Africa and with nations across the world. Our doors are always open \u2014 especially in Swat Valley, the Switzerland of Pakistan \u2014 where we welcome the world to witness our peace, culture, and hospitality. We believe that stronger people-to-people ties and diaspora engagement are key to a shared future.”<\/p>\n

As a gesture of goodwill, Sardar Waqar Shahzad presented symbolic \u201cOpen Door\u201d souvenirs to H.E. Mr. Rudolph Pierre Jordaan, High Commissioner of South Africa, and to Mr. Syed Qamar Raza, Chairman OPF.<\/p>\n

The souvenirs symbolized Pakistan\u2019s message of openness, friendship, and cooperation with the global community and its overseas Pakistanis.<\/p>\n

The luncheon provided a cordial platform for meaningful dialogue on strengthening bilateral relations, enhancing cooperation, and highlighting the contributions of the Pakistani diaspora.<\/p>\n
