Mr. Irfan Davudov as the new Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan through a presidential decree.<\/p>\n<p>He was serving as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam. Ambassador Khazar Farhadov have been transferred to Malaysia with accreditation to Brunei.<\/p>\n<p>Davudov was appointed Azerbaijan&#8217;s ambassador to Malaysia on July 23, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The appointment is being viewed as an important step toward further strengthening the longstanding diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. Ambassador-designate Irfan Davudov is expected to play a significant role in expanding political, trade, economic, and cultural cooperation between the two brotherly countries.<br class=\"html-br\" \/><br class=\"html-br\" \/>Diplomatic and official circles have congratulated Ambassador Irfan Davudov on his new appointment and expressed their best wishes for a successful tenure in Islamabad.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>ISLAMABAD : The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan has appointed H.E.
