\"\"The Saudi Turk Pak defence agreement is welcome but we need to see what benefit it brings for the people of our countries ! See, last week the Defense Minister of Somalia was here who signed a defense agreement with Pakistan. The ministers and officials discussed many things except the plight of those pakistanis who are in the custody of Somalian Pirates for the last 3 and half months.<\/p>\n

They are not in the priorities of either side. They were in detention before the Somalia Pakistan Defense Agreement. They are still detained in bad condition after the agreement.
\nPakistani hostages in Somalian waters are the best example for our excited friends to understand what benefit commoners have in this type of agreement.<\/p>\n

Moreover, there was no need for the Makkah agreement because all three countries already have defense cooperation.<\/p>\n

Which agreement can be more important than the 34 countries coalition force against terrorism established many years ago under the command of General Raheel Sharif?<\/p>\n

Anyone can tell what this force has delivered so far?<\/p>\n

The Somalian defense minister spent 4 days in Islamabad but nowhere with any official the matter of Pakistani hostages was discussed.<\/p>\n

As far as , Trilateral Defense Pact is concerned, it is bringing no good at the public level in Pakistan. And what our emotional naive people see in it is that it is some alliance of Muslim Ummah that will eradicate all enemies of the Muslims including Israel and India, no such thing is going to happen ever.<\/p>\n

Actually it is a defense of the Saudi Arabia Agreement because only Saudia is facing strikes from Iran on one side and from Houthis of Yemen on the other side. Here too, the point to understand is, neither Pakistan nor Turkiye will ever retaliate against any of the two sides mentioned above.<\/p>\n

Turkiye and Saudi are both beneficiary countries of Pakistan. Pakistan neither buys petroleum from other countries nor moves forward on exploration inside the country only to keep Saudis please. Let alone our other services for their defense and technical support in other sectors.<\/p>\n
