Mr. Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, welcoming his visit to Pakistan.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The two sides reaffirmed the longstanding brotherly ties between Pakistan and Syria and agreed to further strengthen bilateral cooperation across areas of mutual interest.<\/p>\n<p>The Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments, including Palestine, the Golan Heights, Afghanistan, the situation in South Asia, and developments in the Middle East.<\/p>\n<p>DPM\/FM reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s support for Syria\u2019s sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Syrian Foreign Minister Welcome in Pakistan\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OuaodButVMw?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Syrian Foreign Minister welcomed the signing of the Makkah Joint Defence Agreement and commended Pakistan\u2019s constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability, including its efforts towards de-escalation in the US-Iran context.<\/p>\n<p>Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued engagement and cooperation for peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and beyond.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier Ishaq Dar held a warm and constructive restricted meeting with Syrian Foreign Minister.<\/p>\n<p>The two sides reaffirmed the deep-rooted brotherly ties between Pakistan and Syria and discussed ways to further advance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
