\"\"ISLAMABAD : Staff Reporter + Camera : Raja Ghulam Farid – The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a melodious concert marking the 35th Anniversary of the\u00a0 Independence in the capital city of Pakistan in collaboration with Pakistan National Council of the Arts. Renown artists from Uzbekistan performed the colors of Uzbek culture winning the hearts of the guests.\u00a0 The event also highlighted\u00a0 the Uzbekistan Tourism Days being held in the Pakistani capital.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture of Pakistan Aurangzeb Khan Khichi attended the event as the Chief Guest. The spokesperson of the President of Pakistan Mr. Murtaza Solangi, MD Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation Aftab ur Rehman Rana, Ambassadors of Russia, Turkmenistan, Japan, Syria, North Korea and diplomats from Belarus, Cuba, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Zimbabwe other embassies were also present at the concert.<\/p>\n

The Minister highly praised the far-reaching reforms and transformation taking place in Uzbekistan. Recalling his recent visit to our country, he noted that the Center of Islamic Civilization in Tashkent and the renovated Imam Bukhari Complex near Samarkand had made a particularly profound impression on him.<\/p>\n

The Federal Minister commended Uzbekistan\u2019s remarkable efforts to preserve, study and promote its unique historical, cultural and intellectual heritage around the world.
\n\u201cUzbekistan is setting an example of how a great history can be carefully preserved, presented to the world with dignity and passed on to future generations,\u201d the Minister emphasized.<\/p>\n

\"\"Ambassador Alisher Tukhtaev , in his welcome address remarked, today, from Tashkent and Samarkand to Islamabad and Lahore, the bridges of friendship connecting our peoples are growing ever stronger. We are united by a great past. Today, we are bound by a strong friendship. And ahead of us lies a great shared future.<\/p>\n

Director General PNCA Mr. Ayub Jamali also shared his views on the bilateral cultural exchanges.<\/p>\n

The festive evening brought together more than 300 guests, including representatives of Pakistan\u2019s government and parliament, ambassadors and members of the diplomatic corps, business and academic communities, the media and cultural circles, as well as our compatriots.<\/p>\n

The evening opened with the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Pakistan. It was particularly emphasized that the bonds between the Uzbek and Pakistani peoples have been forged over centuries. Our nations are united by shared historical and cultural roots, spiritual values, a rich intellectual heritage and deep traditions of mutual respect.<\/p>\n

Today, thanks to the strong political will and strategic vision of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the centuries-old affinity between our peoples is finding new expression in a modern strategic partnership.<\/p>\n

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev\u2019s historic State Visit to Pakistan on 5\u20136 February this year gave powerful momentum to this process and opened a new chapter in bilateral cooperation.<\/p>\n

A vibrant concert program became the true highlight of the evening. Uzbek national melodies, songs and captivating traditional dances were received with exceptional warmth and enthusiastic applause from the Pakistani audience.<\/p>\n

The evening once again demonstrated a powerful truth: culture knows no borders, and genuine friendship cannot be measured by distance. It lives through shared historical memory, mutual respect and a common aspiration to build the future together.<\/p>\n
