Advisor to Chairman Senate and Ambassador to ISC Misbah Khar, during her visit to Rwanda, held separate meetings with Rt. Hon. Dr. Kalinda Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier, President of the Senate of Rwanda, and Mr. Olivier Mushimire, Clerk of the Senate, and discussed ways to further strengthen institutional linkages and parliamentary cooperation between Pakistan and Rwanda.<\/p>\n

During her meeting with Rt. Hon. Dr. Kalinda Fran\u00e7ois-Xavier, Misbah Khar conveyed the warm greetings and best wishes of Chairman Senate of Pakistan Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani.<\/p>\n

She discussed the importance of strengthening institutional linkages between the Senates of Pakistan and Rwanda and promoting regular parliamentary exchanges, sharing of experiences and cooperation between parliamentary committees and friendship groups. She also highlighted the role of parliamentary diplomacy in bringing the two countries and their institutions closer.<\/p>\n

Misbah Khar underscored the significance of expanding bilateral cooperation, business-to-business relations and economic collaboration between Pakistan and Rwanda, noting that stronger parliamentary engagement could contribute to creating greater opportunities for cooperation in diverse fields.<\/p>\n

On behalf of Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani, she extended an invitation to the President of the Senate of Rwanda to visit Pakistan, expressing the hope that his visit would further strengthen parliamentary and bilateral relations between the two countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n

During her meeting with Mr. Olivier Mushimire, Clerk of the Senate of Rwanda, Misbah Khar discussed avenues for strengthening institutional cooperation and parliament-to-parliament linkages between Pakistan and Rwanda.<\/p>\n

She emphasized the value of exchanging parliamentary experiences, expertise and best practices, particularly in areas of institutional development, legislative processes and parliamentary outreach.<\/p>\n

She also highlighted the importance of complementing parliamentary relations with enhanced bilateral, trade and economic cooperation, saying that closer institutional contacts can help identify new areas of collaboration between the two countries.<\/p>\n

Misbah Khar conveyed the best wishes of Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani for the leadership and people of Rwanda and expressed confidence that continued engagement between the two Parliaments would contribute to further strengthening Pakistan-Rwanda relations.<\/p>\n
