Abdul Raheem Abdullah, Speaker of the People\u2019s Majlis of the Maldives, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, Chief of Army Staff &amp; Chief of Defence Forces (COAS &amp; CDF), at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi on 24 Sep 2026.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, matters of mutual interest, including regional security and bilateral cooperation, were discussed.<\/p>\n<p>The COAS &amp; CDF underscored the importance Pakistan attaches to its brotherly relations with the Maldives and reaffirmed commitment to further strengthening these ties for the mutual benefit of both countries.<\/p>\n<p>H.E.
