It was first meeting of Asim after his appointment with the President.<\/p>\n<p>The President felicitated the ambassadors on their appointments and wished them successful tenures in Pakistan. He discussed opportunities to strengthen bilateral relations, with particular emphasis on economic cooperation, trade and investment, alongside areas of shared interest.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-69518\" src=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Norway-Ambassador.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"160\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Norway-Ambassador.jpg 500w, https:\/\/pakistanintheworld.pk\/live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/Norway-Ambassador-300x96.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/>In his meeting with Ambassador-designate of Norway, Sigvald Hauge, the President reaffirmed Pakistan\u2019s commitment to strengthening its longstanding friendly relations with Norway.
