Google to Digitize Info Ministry and Provide Skills, Scholarships to the Youth of Balochistan

ISLAMABAD: government of Balochistan has signed MoUs with Google to provide IT skills and Google scholarships to the youth of of the province. The memoranda of understanding were signed by Secretary IT Tayyab Lahri, Secretary Information Muhammad Hamza Shafaqat and CEO Umar Farooq of Tech Valley.
The aim of this initiative is to enable the youth to get online jobs by aligning them with the requirements of the modern era. Google will also provide support in the digitalization of the provincial information department.
Google will also provide support in the digitalization of the provincial information department. Provincial Finance Minister Zamrik Khan Achakzai and Chief Secretary Abdul Aziz Aqeeli also participated in the ceremony.

The Chief Minister is deeply interested in providing dignified employment to the youth of Balochistan. Opportunities are being provided to the youth of Balochistan to advance in every field.
Information Secretary Hamza Shafqat said that in May of this year, Google had given 1000 scholarships to the youth of Balochistan.
More than 900 youths enrolled in this program. Another 2000 scholarships will be given by Google. These include 1000 scholarships for girls and boys. The youth with the scholarship will have an international certification that will enable them to get online jobs. Will be able to earn up to thousand dollars.
