Peshawar, July 2024 – Engr Qaiser Nawab, a renowned global youth advocate, recently met with His Excellency Faisal Karim Kundi, the Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at the Governor House in Peshawar. The meeting highlighted the pivotal role of youth development in shaping Pakistan’s future, with a focus on harnessing the potential of the country’s youthful population, which comprises approximately 70% of the total demographic.
During the engaging discussion, Mr. Nawab congratulated Governor Kundi on his recent appointment as the 35th Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He lauded Kundi’s proactive efforts towards youth and women empowerment and emphasized the critical importance of investing in youth for national progress.

They explored initiatives to facilitate cooperation among Pakistani youth leaders and proposed inter-provincial exchange programs to realize the vision of Pakistan’s founding leaders. They also discussed enhancing climate diplomacy through greater youth and child involvement, particularly in preparation for COP-29 in Azerbaijan.
The meeting addressed the recent challenges faced by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, especially DI Khan and neighboring areas, which were severely affected by flooding. The impact on youth, women, and children, and the necessary rehabilitation efforts were key discussion points.
