Pakistan-Azerbaijan Discuss Cooperation in Trade, Energy, Digital Tech, Health, Education in 4th Bilateral Political Consultations

ISLAMABAD: Staff Reporter – 4th Round of Pakistan-Azerbaijan Bilateral Political Consultations was held in Islamabad on 23 Jan 2025. Mr. Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Republic of Azerbaijan  led the Azerbaijan delegation. The Pakistan delegation was led by  Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch.

The two sides comprehensively discussed the full spectrum of bilateral relationship. Both sides agreed to build upon the existing cooperation, particularly in energy, trade, digital technologies, tourism and health sectors. Both sides also exchanged views on various regional and international developments.

Mr. Elnur Mammadov, Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan called on Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

Mr. Mummadov briefed the DPM/FM about his discussion during the 4th round of Bilateral Political Consultations held . DPM/FM reaffirmed his commitment to further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.

Ambassador Khazar Farhadov has shared in his meeting with a local businessman that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will visit Azerbaijan in Feb on the invitation of President Ilham Aliyev. Azerbaijan wishes that a delegation of business community also accompany the prime minister in this visit.
