He made the Uzbek region wonderful, renewed and native.

Borders are open again, the hall is full of praise again.
Where there used to be walls, the bridge will be built out of goodness.

The friendship between Tajikistan and Uzbekistan is a unique example of how common roots, culture, and history are intertwined nowadays. Leaders of the two countries played a special role in this revival of the “eternal brotherhood”.
The historical merit of the honorable Emomali Rakhmon and the honorable Shavkat Mirziyoyev is that they were able to transform relations from the format of “just neighbors” to the format of “strategic allies”. Open borders, a visa-free regime and joint economic projects have become the foundation on which the world in Central Asia is built.
