Lahore, 28 August 2022 – As part of his regular trip to Lahore, the Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E. Mr. Yerzhan Kistafin, took part in an event dedicated to cooperation between Pakistan and the countries of Central Asia as a guest of honor.
The seminar dedicated to the 75th Anniversary of the Independence of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was attended by Mr. Shamshad Ahmed Khan, Former Foreign Secretary of Pakistan, Mr. Sahibzada Sultan Ahmed Ali, Dewan of Junagadh State and Chairman MUSLIM Institute, Dr. Mehboob Hussain, Professor of the University of Punjab and Mr. Naheed Imran Gill, Secretary Nazria Pakistan Trust.
The speakers spoke about the history of relations between Pakistan and Central Asia.
For his part, Ambassador Kistafin shared the view and position of Kazakhstan regarding cooperation with Pakistan, plans for the future, and the difficulties and history of the formation of relations between our countries at the present stage.
In addition, the Ambassador was presented with a photo collection dedicated to Quaid-i-Azam, the leader of the nation – Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
As part of his stay in Lahore, the Head of the Kazakhstan diplomatic mission held a meeting with local business circles and discussed the prospects for further interaction between the business communities of the two countries.
