Konya/ Turkiye: President Ersin Tatar met with President of Azerbaijan İlham Aliyev in Konya.President Tatar, who had a meeting with the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev for about 40 minutes in Ramada Hotel Meliksha Hall, informed Aliyev about Cyprus and that they are pursuing a policy in harmony with the Republic of Turkiye.
President Tatar, who noted that the acceptance took place in an extremely friendly environment, stressed that evaluations were being made to improve mutual relations between the two countries.
President Tatar wished that KKTC athletes will be able to participate in the Islamic Solidarity Games in the coming years and expressed that Turkish Cypriot are very proud and happy for Azerbaijan’s Karabakh Victory.
The President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev also supported the participation of KKTC athletes in the Islamic Solidarity Games and said that they felt the support of the KKTC people during the Karabakh war in Azerbaijan.
