ISLAMABAD: The Vietnam Embassy and Malaysian High Commission in Pakistan organized Fashion Show Cultural Colors for the first time Cultural Exchange program introducing the country, people and culture in Islamabad on 13 Feb 2024. The Cultural Magic enthralled the guests and empowered the students providing them with global exposure.The missions worked on the hosting of the event for six months to make it successful and well attended and the embassy achieved this goal. ASEAN family in Islamabad also participated enthusiastically. The heads of the missions of member countries, Brunei, Malaysia, Myanmar and Indonesia were also present.
Ambassador Tuanbdn Pham Anh of Vietnam, Colonel (r) Pengiran Haji Kamal Bashah bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad of Brunei, Mohammad Azhar Mazlan of Malaysia, Wunna Han of Myanmar,Rehmet Hindriata of Indonesia encouraged the youth in exchange of culture and traditions to strengthen friendly bonds between the nations.
The show received encouragement, enthusiastic support of the audience for the performance completely by itself (costume by itself, catwalk by itself… ) of the officers, staff, family members of the Vietnamese diaspora in Pakistan.
Particularly interesting and emotional in the night of the show was the participation of students, Pakistani students in Vietnamese long dresses, natural and a little “innocent” performances of the amateur models that really touched the hearts of the guests.
The cultural exchange event will be an opportunity to further promote good relations between the people of the two countries.
PTCL and Ufone from Pakistan collaborated with the Embassy while other partners were NIFTYSPHERE, Institute of Arts Designing, PERWAKILAN, The Ladies Association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia in Islamabad, Mali Thai Spa YARDLIE Premium, Angels Beauty Salon, Truly Asian , Super Crown.
The show was hosted with inspiration from Disneyland and Sindhi Rally.
