Inaccurate missile strikes by Russian troops lead to civilian casualties

Islamabad: Monitoring Desk – On June 8, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that they hit an armored plant in Kharkov, but the missile hit the Vostorg supermarket. This is by far not the first time that Russian missiles have hit civilian infrastructure instead of strategic targets. At the moment, the rubble is being cleared, the number of victims is being established.

According to unofficial data, there are children among the victims. Today, the invaders shelled about 20 settlements in the Donetsk and Lugansk regions, destroyed and damaged 28 civilian facilities, including: 21 houses, 2 schools, a penitentiary institution, an agricultural enterprise, a beekeeping farm, and an electric transformer of a railway station. As a result of these attacks, four people were killed and 6 were injured.

As of the morning of June 8, 2022, the official number of child victims has not changed – 263. The number of injured has increased – 478. Children suffered the most in the Donetsk region – 190, Kharkov region – 122, Kyiv region – 116, Chernihiv region – 68, Lugansk region – 53, Kherson region – 52, Mykolaiv region – 47, Zaporozhye region – 30, Sumy region – 17, in Kyiv – 16, Zhytomyr region – 15.

The Russian Federation fired again at the Sumy region. Around noon, the Russians fired artillery at Velikopisarevskaya and Yunakovskaya communities. After 15:00 mortar shelling was carried out at the Krasnopolsky district. Closer to midnight, the Russians began firing mortars at the territory of the Shostka region. No damage or casualties have been reported.

The situation is also difficult in Lisichansk – it is dangerous there even in the central districts. On one of the central streets yesterday, after shelling, a local resident was killed. Several high-rise buildings were damaged. However, most of the destruction that has been recorded for the current hour is in Vrubovka and Zolote. 25 houses were damaged there.

In the Chernihiv region, 4 attacks on the border areas were recorded. There are no dead.
In the occupied Mariupol, the Russians staged a “humanitarian hell” for the residents. Mariupol residents have no other sources of food except for humanitarian aid, but getting it is not an easy task.

First you need to sign up for a queue two or three days in advance, but a queue is not a guarantee. You have to get into the first 300 lucky people already in a live queue and then stand in the heat without water and without the ability to get it.

Then, if you are lucky, you get some food, but not of good quality and it will quickly deteriorate without refrigerators. Russians also steal Ukrainian rolled metal products from the port of Mariupol. Russian militaries load metal onto a PM3 class ship under the Russian flag with the destination port of Rostov-on-Don.

Also, work continues on clearing the rubble of destroyed houses. Between 50 and 100 bodies of civilians are found under every two of the five high-rise buildings.

Most of the corpses are in the basements and entrances of old houses. If the corpse is not in a mummified state, it is taken directly to one of the two landfills. The rest go to the morgue.
