Islamabad, Pakistan – Pakistan’s dynamic youth leaders converged in Islamabad for a pivotal meeting with Chairman Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, Mr. Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan. Led by Qaiser Nawab, a prominent global youth advocate, the delegation underscored the imperative role of youth-driven climate action in shaping a sustainable future.
Nawab emphasized that the surge of youth engagement in climate advocacy marks not just a passing moment but the dawn of an enduring movement. Despite the daunting challenges facing Pakistan and the planet at large, a new generation emerges – resolute, informed, and united.
The primary agenda of the meeting was to brief Chairman PMYP about the forthcoming Local Conference on Youth (LCOY) Pakistan, to be organized under the auspices of YOUNGO, the official youth constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
