Islamabad;The Federal Minister for Defense Mr. Pervaiz Khattak said this in a meeting with Minister for Defense from Azerbaijan H.E. Col Gen Zakir Hasanov, who has arrived in Pakistan to attend Pakistan’s Day Parade being held on March 23.
The Federal Minister for Defense thanked the government of Azerbaijan for its support on the issue of Kashmir. The Federal Minister for Defense Mr Pervaiz Khattak said that Pakistan believes in peaceful coexistence with all including its neighbors. The Minister for Defense added that both countries share common religion, culture and history, therefore both countries would continue to support each other on various intentional fora.
The visiting Minister thanked the government of Pakistan for its invitation to the Pakistan Day Parade and said that Azerbaijan desires to work closely with Pakistan. He said Azerbaijan consider Pakistan important because of its rich experience in various fields including Defense.
