Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad Keen to Strengthen Cooperation with Kazakh Universities

Islamabad, August 2, 2021 – The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan H.E. Yerzhan Kistafin visited Quaid-I-Azam University Islamabad, where he met with Vice Chancellor Mr. Muhammad Ali.

The Vice Chancellor briefed about the activities and rich history of the University and informed on cooperation with the Kazakh National Pedagogical Unıversity Abaı.

He expressed interest in further establishing and strengthening cooperation with Kazakh universities. He proposed to organize a webinar this year dedicated to the research of universities of the two countries in the field of science and technology.

Muhammad Ali confirmed participation in the upcoming conference on interreligious dialogue, initiated by the Embassy jointly with the Назарбаев орталығы – Центр Назарбаева – Nazarbayev Center for Development of Interfaith and Intercivilization Dialogue and the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI).

For his part, Ambassador supported the proposals of the interlocutor and emphasized the importance of establishing direct ties between universities of  and  in order to boost people-to-people contacts between two countries.
