Rwandan Minister Trade Arrives Islamabad for First Coffee Festival and Meetings to Enhance Cooperation

ISLAMABAD : Minister of Trade & Industry of Rwanda, Mr. Predence SEBAHIZI has arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit, accompanied by his delegation, including Hon. Claude BIZIMANA, CEO of NAEB, Rwanda.
During the visit, he will participate in the Rwanda Coffee Festival scheduled on 29 January 2026 and hold meetings with Minister of Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhary, and Federal Minister, Board of Investment Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, to enhance and explore trade and investment opportunities, as well as areas of cooperation between Rwanda and Pakistan.

The High Commission of Rwanda in Pakistan is also in the race now with fine coffee from their country. The H.C, in partnership with the National Board for Agricultural and Animal Export Development (NAEB), is organizing the Rwanda Coffee Festival 2026, an event aimed at promoting Rwandan coffee in the Pakistani market and stimulating trade and investment opportunities in the sector.

The festival will be hosted on 29 January 2026,  at Mövenpick Hotel, Islamabad, to experience Rwanda’s high-altitude Arabica coffee, connect with industry leaders, and explore new opportunities in the coffee sector. Later in the evening , another session will be held to introduce the coffee with another group of potential customers.
The Rwandan Coffee festival aims to introduce Rwanda’s globally acclaimed specialty coffee to the Pakistani market and to promote trade and investment opportunities in the coffee sector. Rwanda is internationally recognized for its high altitude Arabica coffee pparticularly the Bourbon variety revonowned for its exceptional quality, bright acidity, aroma and distinctive flavor profile.
