Islamabad; 12 Aug 2020 – Embassy of Uzbekistan to Pakistan has recognized the work and contribution of “Pakistan in the World” in enhancing the knowledge about Uzbekistan in different circles of society of Pakistan. Further , this media group has received appreciation on its role in increasing bilateral cooperation in diverse sectors of life with Pakistan.
Defence Attache and Acting Ambassador of Uzbekistan, Col Saad Ullah presented the Letter of Appreciation to Editor Mr. Tazeen Akhtar in a meeting at the Embassy on 11 Aug 2020. Communication officer of the Embassy Mr. Khusan Tashbayev was also present.
The letter was issued on 27 June that is marked in Uzbekistan as Media Workers Day to celebrate their efforts in bringing awareness among the public and provide feedback to the governments that help them in shaping their policies.
The appreciation letter to Pakistan in the World reads as ” Every year on June 27, Uzbekistan celebrates Media Worker’s day , congratulating every representative of the Uzbek press.
Here we can not forget the huge contribution to the development of the Uzbek-Pakistan relations of our Pakistani friends. We are convinced that your professionalism and sincere desire to elevate Uzbek-Pakistani relations to a new qualitative level will continue to serve as inspiration in the strengthening of cooperation between two brotherly states.
