Kazakhstan Embassy holds Conference “Interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue for the sake of peace and harmony”

Islamabad: 26 Aug 2021 — Online round table under the title of «Interfaith and intercivilizational dialogue for the sake of peace and harmony» was held on occasion of celebrating the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event, which brought together experts from Kazakhstan and Pakistan, was organized by  Embassy of Kazakhstan to Pakistan under strong support by the Назарбаев орталығы – Центр Назарбаева – Nazarbayev Center for the Development of Interfaith and Intercivilizational Dialogue and Islamic Research Institute of Islamabad.

The experts, who spoke at the round table, highly appreciated the initiatives of Elbasy N.Nazarbayev on organizing and holding the Congress of World and Traditional Religions, emphasizing its increasing relevance today.

In addition, the participants shared their views about the national experience and model of Kazakhstan and Pakistan in the field of preserving and promoting interreligious peace and harmony, which, according to everyone, are one of the key factors in ensuring stability and progressive development of the two countries.

The meeting ended with the arrangement to keep the practice of organizing round tables alike between experts and scientists of Kazakhstan and Pakistan.
