Today, I want to express my deep gratitude to you as millions of Azerbaijani citizens. Thank you for giving us a sense of national pride and unity to the Azerbaijani people. We are grateful to you for making the desire and sacred desire of every Azerbaijani living in the hearts of many years. Azerbaijani people – are a great nation!

Great things don’t happen at a moment. The road to any historical achievement is long, complex and difficult. Your historical service is that you stepped down this path and passed it with honor. Your unparalleled service is that you have secured the victory of the Azerbaijani people with the decisions you made by leading the country all these years.

Your power is that in this way you managed to gain the trust of the people and you really understood this valuable trust by relying on the trust and love of the people. Your historical service is that, despite all the difficulties, pressures, sometimes baseless and unfair thoughts over these years, you did not lose your faith, hope and will. The fulfillment of a great Mission, such as ensuring the territorial integrity of our country, was also possible thanks to your irreplaceable will.
