Islamabad- Tazeen Akhtar – District Magistrate , Deputy Commissioner Hamzah Shafqaat has sealed SLS Montessori and School situated at street 124 of sector G-11-4 with immediate effect. He took this decision on complaints of corona positive cases.
The order issued in this regards reads that it is to save the students and local community.
Here it is worth mentioning that Pakistan in the World published a report on the same day 25 jan in which detail was published that how many positive cases have been noted so far and still the school administration is not ready to give sampling.
This is the first seal that has been imposed on some high level private education institution.
Parents say that Ministry of Education had directed the District Administration not to disturb private schools.
In case of SLS school , 13 teachers were positive including principal and head teacher but District Health Officer was giving dates every passing day that tomorrow the sampling will be collected. finally on the eve of 25 jan , DM issued the orders.
