Islamabad: Feb 09, 2022 -Honorable President of Republic of Uzbekistan, H.E Shavkat Mirziyoyev will visit Pakistan next month on the invitation of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Both leaders met at the sidelines of China Winter Olympics only a few days ago. Prime Minister, in the meeting reiterated his invitation and shared that people of Pakistan are looking forward to the visit of President Shavkat.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan H.E. Mr. Oybek Usmanov called on Minister of Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed today in the same connection .
Arrangements for Uzbek President’s visit to Pakistan next month and visa facilitation to the people of both countries were also discussed in the meeting.
Minister expressed hope that President Shavkat’s visit to Pakistan would further strengthen the bilateral ties between the two countries, he added.
The ambassador said that the President was very optimistic about his visit to Pakistan. The visit of the Uzbek President would usher in a new era of Pakistan-Uzbek relations, he added.
