Yesterday, I felt very saddened by the vile and humiliating act of an elder in Sindh. So, I thought why not to elaborate on some of the black deeds of such so-called elders and Sardars and the atrocities inflicted on the public by them.
The history of ignorant and oppressive rituals found in any area dates back centuries, changing a little over time but never ending completely.
In the same cruel rituals in Sindh, the ritual of marriage with Quran, the ritual of Pir’s chameleon, the ritual of Sam i.e. Ta Hayat Bandi (life time slaves)or Winni, all these ignorant rituals have spoiled the identity of Pakistan in the whole world.
Due to such absurd rituals, a class in Sindh is suffering in the mill of oppression and the luxuries of the elders. The girl whom he loved, was targeted by his lust, and made her hostage. If anyone raises voice against this oppression, he will be killed. Erased the family, resorting to rituals like Sam and Winnie, underage girls who have no future, they are just a bird trapped in the mansions of the Vaderas (land lords), who is in this cage until death.
A student of Shamaila Abbasi College became victim of the cruelty of a cruel Wadeera. For refusing to marry, a man named Saddam Ali broke into the house at night and fired at the mother and daughter. For eight days in Shamaila Jinnah Hospital, one in the struggle of life and death. The beast’s savage has been offered.
:Similarly, there is a family living in front of Islamabad Press Club whose crime is that they worked at an old man’s place. I borrowed a few times from him. After a while, this old man said that you guys owe me 10 lakh rupees. Money Return it or I’ll make your daughters my handcuffs. From where did they get so much money, they came here and camped in front of the press club. If someone gives them food, they eat otherwise they sleep hungry on the street.
There are countless incidents where countless families were killed due to such ignorant rituals and Vadera royalty. Minor girls were enslaved for life due to rituals like Winnie and Sam.
Some time ago, an EU organization “Integrated Regional Information Networks” published a report on the alleged customs, saying that, “Pakistan, despite living in the 21st century, is a slave to outdated customs, which has been a year of honor.” More than 500 women are murdered in the name.
Open killings in Punjab, blackmailing in Balochistan, Torutura at the border and in Sindh are being opened in the name of blackmailing in the name of Karakari in which women’s rights organizations hold speeches only one day a year and talk about their rights. Kay and go get a photo session done.
How long will the daughters of the poor be imprisoned in the walls of mansions  of vaderas for life in this modern era? How high are the walls that we cannot hear the sobs and cries of the women living in them.
