Tajik Ambassador and Minister Defense Pakistan Discuss CASA-1000 & Situation in Afghanistan

H.E. Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan called on Federal Minister for Defence, Defence Production and Aviation, Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad on September 18, 2024.
Islamabad: – H.E. Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan called on Minister for Defence , Defence Production and Aviation, Khawaja Muhammad Asif in his office in Islamabad on 18 Sep 2024. During the meeting matters pertaining to bilateral defence and economic cooperation came under discussion.
During the meeting importance of implementation of energy project “CASA-1000” for the countries of the region was stressed.
Moreover, matters related to Aviation were also discussed. Defence Minister also reiterated Pakistan’s commitment towards peaceful resolution of all outstanding regional issues and appreciated the efforts of Tajikistan in promoting peace and economic connectivity in the region.

Pakistan Tajikistan Advance Cooperation in Labour Mobility & Industrial Expertise

Tajik Ambassador highlighted the brotherly ties that exist between the people of two countries.In addition to this, he assured his government’s commitment to collaborate with Pakistan in various areas of mutual interest.
During the meeting a wide range of issues of Tajik-Pakistani relations were considered, especially in the sphere of economy, civil aviation, security and military-technical sphere.
The parties exchanged views on the current military-political, economic and social situation in Afghanistan, which directly affects the security situation in the region, as well as on other key issues of mutual interest.
It was emphasized that Pakistan appreciates the efforts of Tajikistan to strengthen peace and stability in the region.
