ISLAMABAD: 03 July 2025 – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has left for Azerbaijan on a two-day visit to attend the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit in Khan Kandy.
In his address, the Prime Minister will present Pakistan’s perspective on regional and global challenges and issues, and reiterate Pakistan’s commitment to the ECO Vision 2025. The Prime Minister will emphasize on promoting regional trade, strengthening regional connectivity, cooperation in the energy sector and measures to achieve sustainable development in the region.
The Prime Minister will also meet with world leaders participating in the summit.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi are also part of the delegation accompanying the Prime Minister.
