ISLAMABAD : Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Tourism, Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan did not meet any Israeli official in London during the World Travel Market event. It was only an abrupt visit of Israeli official to Pakistani Pavallion when Sardar Yasir was present there.
The staff of Pakistani Pavilion around shared that during the event, a group of individuals from Israel visited the Pakistan Pavallion unannounced and met the Pakistani delegation without introducing themselves. The delegation was headed by Michael Izhakov, Director General of Israel’s Tourism Ministry on their own tour to an open international exhibition.
Israeli official when came to know that a high profile gov representative of Pakistan is there, tried to make it a meeting that actually was not.
Despite this unexpected encounter, Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan did not welcomed them but responded to their interest in routine matter like a common visitor.
Certainly this sudden encounter can not be termed as “meeting” as the Israelis always seek to dig into the Pakistanis to create familiarity for thier own interests but Pakistanis remain cautious always.
Sardar Yasir remained focused on his mission as a proud Pakistani and true patriot, dedicated to promoting a positive and progressive tourism narrative for Pakistan across the world.
Sardar Yasir Ilyas Khan visited London at his own expense, leading a delegation of 31 tourism representatives from Pakistan to participate in the World Travel Market (WTM). He proudly represented Pakistan at the Pakistan Pavilion, showcasing the country’s rich tourism potential on a global platform.
