Earlier ,a memorial ceremony was held for Mohamed Al-Haddad and his companions at Murted Air Base in Ankara. The ceremony was attended by Turkish Defence Minister Yaşar Güler, Chief of the Turkish General Staff Metin Gürak, and Commander of the Turkish Naval Forces Ercüment Tatlıoğlu, alongside a number of senior military commanders.
Those who died alongside Al-Haddad include Lieutenant General Al-Fitouri Ghraibil, Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces; Brigadier General Mahmoud Al-Qatawi, Director of the Military Manufacturing Authority; Mohammed Al-Asawi Diab, advisor to the Chief of the General Staff; and Mohammed Omar Ahmed Mahjoub, a photographer at the Chief of Staff’s Media Office.

A French diplomatic source has confirmed that the captain and co-pilot of the aircraft that crashed, both French nationals, were killed in the incident. The source said that two French citizens were among the victims.
French authorities are in contact with the victims’ families through the French Embassy in Turkey and the national Crisis and Support Center.
The source also confirmed that the French Bureau of Investigation and Analysis for Civil Aviation Safety is taking part in the investigation launched by Turkish authorities.
Three French investigators have traveled to the crash site, accompanied by technical experts from Harmony Jets, the aircraft’s owner, and Dassault Falcon, the plane’s manufacturer.
Meanwhile, the flight attendant on board held dual Greek and Cypriot citizenship. The Greek City Times identified her as Maria Papa, aged 42.
