Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan attaches no confidence against him with his visit to Russia saying “A Country” is not happy with this visit and my policy on Russia-Ukraine conflict. He has shared with selected journalists that The Country wants to punish me on my Russia visit and Pakistani opposition is in connivance with That Country.
“Opposition of Pakistan has made USA think that the visit to Russia is my personal policy and this man (PM) is against USA.” Imran Khan accused.
Prime Minister has not shared the 3 page letter, name of the country, exact writing in the letter as there is official secret act in Pakistan that does not allow him to disclose the particulars that are name of country names of officials, exact language of letter.
But the journalists in their talk shows after meeting with PM Imran have mentioned that it is USA. The selected journalists supported their hint with the argument that it is USA only that has been involved in toppling the governments in Pakistan.
Imran Khan shared with the journalists that a meeting was held in that country between their and Pakistani officials before the No Confidence Motion was moved in the National Assembly.
“The officials of that country noted that we are not happy with Prime Minister’s visit to Russia and his policy on Russia-Ukraine conflict. We want that the policy is personal decision of Imran Khan and state or state institutions do not favor this policy.” Prime Minister shared.
The PM further briefed that ” The officials of that country said that No Confidence is coming against your Prime Minister. If this is successful, We will forgive all of your faults. If it is not succeeded, Pakistan will have to face consequences.”
Imran Khan shared that ” The officials of that country discussed that the whole government, state institutions were not on board with Prime Minister in his Russia Policy. Here Pakistani officials made it clear that everything was discussed with all important institutions.
Prime Minister cleared ” We had consultations with media and foreign office. I discussed it with The Army Chief (General Qamar Javed) who also suggested that I should visit Russia. I called Army Chief one day before Russia entered into Donbas Region of Ukraine.”
The conversation was recorded in the shape of a document that was used to draft a final letter and this letter was handed over to Pakistani officials. Prime Minister and Foreign Minister received this letter who further shared it with other concerned in Pakistan.
“When Pakistan officials said that we will continue contacts in this regard. The host country officials responded that decision on any further contact will be done in the light of No Confidence is succeeded or failed.”
Prime Minister said ” I did not know that Russia is about to invade Ukraine. Inspite of invasion, they presented me guard of honor and President Putin spent 3 hours with me. I want to build relations with all countries. I am not against USA. I am enhancing relations with Russia only for our country’s benefit. We can import gas and wheat from Russia.”
An official present at the Prime Minister’s briefing shared with journalists that “USA is attaching its foreign policy about Pakistan with Imran stays or goes home.”
The language of the letter is threatening and arrogant.
“I can not make happy all only to remain in the chair. I have criticized USA policies but I am not against USA.” Imran Khan said.
