RAWALPINDI : Monitoring Desk – After a Bloody, Bleeding day for Balochistan on 26 Aug 2024, and a large scale attack on Jaffer Express on 11 March 2025, another Black day for this terrorism torn province was 31 Jan 2026 when the terrorists of so called Balochistan Liberation Army BLA and Balochistan Liberation Front BLF in complete coordination hit civilians and military personnel in the length and breadth of the biggest province of Pakistan with respect to area, from capital city Quetta to port city Gwadar.
The Inter Services Public Relations ISPR , media wing of Armed Forces of Pakistan has shared, 92 terrorists Killed after they gunned down 18 civilians while 15 soldiers martyrd in thwarting the cowardly attacks in Balochistan on 31 January 2026.
The terrorists of Indian sponsored Fitna al Hindustan attempted to disturb peace of Balochistan by conducting multiple terrorist activities around Quetta, Mastung, Nushki, Dalbandin, Kharan, Panjgur, Tump, Gwadar and Pasni.

On behest of their foreign masters, these cowardly acts of terrorism were aimed at disrupting the lives of local populace and development of Balochistan by targeting innocent civilians in District Gwadar and Kharan, wherein, terrorists maliciously targeted 18 innocent civilians (including women, children, elderly and labours) who embraced Shahadat.
Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies being fully alert immediately responded and successfully thwarted the evil design of terrorists displaying unwavering courage and professional excellence. Our valiant troops carried out engagement of terrorists with precision and after prolong, intense and daring clearance operation across Balochistan, sent 92 terrorists including 3 suicide bombers to hell, ensuring security and protection of local populace.
Tragically, during clearance operations and intense standoffs, 15 brave sons of soil, having fought gallantly, made the ultimate sacrifice and embraced shahadat.
Sanitization operations in these areas are being continuously conducted and the instigators, perpetrators, facilitators and abettors of these heinous and cowardly acts, targeting innocent civilians and Law Enforcement Agencies personals, will be brought to Justice.
Intelligence reports have unequivocally confirmed that the attacks were orchestrated and directed by terrorists ring leaders operating from outside Pakistan, who were in direct
communication with the terrorists throughout the incident.
Earlier on 30 January, 41 terrorists of Fitna al Hindustan and Fitna al Khwarij were killed in Panjgur and Harnai. With these successful operations in last two days, the total number of terrorists killed in the ongoing operations in Balochistan has reached one hundred and thirty three.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Indian sponsored terrorist found in the area. Relentless Counter Terrorism campaign under vision “Azm e Istehkam” (as approved by Federal Apex Committee on National Action Plan) by Security Forces and Law Enforcement Agencies of Pakistan will continue at full pace to wipe out menace of foreign sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
Independent sources and local people are sharing a very dangerous picture of the scenes from the spot. In Quetta only, a video showed BLA terrorists cordoned off the road leading outside of the city. They were carrying Rocket Launchers and other weapons. They were holding BLA flags as well. Internet and cable service was cut off in the city and emergency was imposed everywhere including in the hospitals.
At Saryab road Quetta , a police vehicle was hit by the terrorists that caught fire and 2 police personnel were martyred. Counter Terrorism Department responded asap and a gun fire exchange at the hideout of the terrorists resulted in 4 deaths of the terrorists.
TRT quoted an unknown official as sharing , 41 terrorists were killed during Saturday’s operations, while 67 others were killed in separate security actions across the province on Friday, bringing the total to 108 in the past 48 hours. On Friday,at least 41 terrorists were killed in two separate security operations in the Harnai and Panjgur districts of Balochistan.
In Gwadar, the terrorists were hiding in City School who all were killed by security forces and the area was cleared. Here a family of Baloch has been killed by the terrorists. Officials have not shared any detail who that unfortunate family is?
Deputy Commissioner of Naushki Mohammad Hussain Hazara was kidnapped and his video was shared on social media in which he confirmed he is in the custody of the terrorists. Unconfirmed information was also floated on the social media that he was kidnapped alongwith his family. After many hours, some unknown official confirmed to a journalist that Deputy Commissioner has been recovered safe and sound but there was not such statement from the DC on social media.

Editor Tazeen Akhtar, sharing his views on the situation said, Chief Minister of the province, Sarfraz Bugti of Pakistan Peoples Party that rules in adjacent Sindh province also was crying on the loss of lives. He could just repeat the same routine statement ” The terrorists will not be spared.”
“Sarfarz Bugti has worked as interior minister of this province in the past. In both positions , he was supposed to take measures to control recurring attacks but he failed. He could not keep a vigilant eye on one city of Quetta even, let alone the rest of the province, Tazeen Akhtar added.
He said that the statement of CM ” 10 such attacks can not do anything to us ” is a naive man’s comment and not a CM’s comment. It means he is just uttering strong statements and doing nothing strong. Moreover it is equal to incite more attacks.
The terrorists destroyed a branch of Faisal Bank in Hazar Ganjji area of Quetta by firing a rocket launcher while holding the control of the bazar and common people were watching it.
A suicide attack at Red Zone of Quetta has also been reported. The terrorists attack at Commissioner office in Sibbi. Reportedly, 10 Police personnel have sacrificed lives on 31 jan. DSP Mir Faisal Yousufzai is among them.
