Today is the birthday of Mehriban Aliyeva, First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the good ambassador of UNESCO and ISESCO, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and the first lady of Azerbaijan, who has won the love and sympathy of millions of people. I sincerely congratulate Mrs. Mehriban on this beautiful day, and wish her a long life, solid health, continuous success in her honorable and responsible activities, development of our statehood, improving the welfare of our people, and I am proud of her achievements.
It is a great pride for our people and our state that, among the women who reached the peak of world political leadership, the first lady of our country, the President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, was awarded the supreme orders of various countries, UNESCO and ISESCO.
There is Mehriban Aliyeva, a well-deserved ambassador of international organizations. The social, political, and cultural mission that Mehriban Khanum has accomplished so far is a historical phenomenon. In the example of Mehriban Khanum, the daughter, wife, and mother of a large and noble family home, we see the selfless assistant of our honorable President Mr. Ilham Aliyev, who ensures the height of today and tomorrow of Azerbaijan.
Mehriban Khanum has conquered the peak of a public and political figure who protects and develops the traditions of Heydar Aliyev, the creator, and founder of our history of independence, in the hearts of the people.
Mehriban Khanum’s circle of activity is so limitless, the light of intelligence is so bright that it is impossible to classify the benevolent works she does. Regardless of which field she faces, she completes state policy with all her activities, makes the ideas of the Great Leader Heydar Aliyev alive, and gives great support to the great and magnificent activity of the President Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
The multifaceted and numerous projects implemented in Azerbaijan and different countries of the world organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, headed by Ms. Mehriban are distinguished by their rarity, originality, patriotism, and philosophical plantation, complete your ex is a character.
First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva has provided exceptional services in conveying the realities of Azerbaijan, in particular the Khojaly genocide, and occupation of our lands by Armenia, to the world public. Mehriban Khanum devotes a lot of time to solving the problems of sensitive layers of the population, especially IDPs, either before or after the 44-day Homeland War. 
Mehriban Khanum devoted her first meeting as First Vice President to the relocation of families of refugees and IDPs who are temporarily settled in dormitories in Baku and Sumgait to new homes. Immediately after this meeting, a relevant action plan was prepared, real work was started and in a short period of time, the housing conditions of up to 300 thousand refugees and internally displaced persons were improved. As a result, 5,923 IDP families, and in the first quarter of 2019, another 2,227 families belonging to this category were moved to new apartments.
Under the leadership of First Vice President Mehriban Aliyeva, a group of soldiers and officers who lost their health in the April 2016 fights were provided with high-tech prosthetics.
The first lady spoke with pride about the heroism, dedication, and high professionalism of the glorious Azerbaijani soldiers in her address to the people of Azerbaijan after the Great Victory in the 44-day Homeland War, and at the same time, the battle operation Remembering our soldiers who died on their horses with a feeling of sorrow said:
“Today, I mourn with the families of our martyrs, to sacrifice their lives for the Motherland I bow in front of parents who raise ready sons. The blood of our martyrs was not shed in vain – we restored historical justice, and we won a sacred Victory. A victory that will be written in our history forever! It is the duty of each of us to remember at what cost this Victory was won! We will never forget the martyrs of the Homeland War. They will remain in our hearts forever. May God have mercy on our martyrs and heal the wounded. Strength and patience to their families and relatives. May the Almighty God protect Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani people! “.
The benevolent works of the First Vice President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva will not only remain in the memories of people, will be written in golden letters in the history of the Motherland, but will also encourage others to do charitable works!
