Wealth is good but certainly to some extent only. One can do many things if one is wealthy but at a stage the same wealth becomes the main cause of turning the father and son or brothers into enemies. Same happened with Sardar family of Azad Kashmir who built the first world level land mark of Islamabad, the Centaurus Mall few years ago.

I knew already that the family is divided and someone shared that Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has tortured his father for not supporting him against two other brothers Dr Rashid Ilyas and Sardar Yasir Ilyas.
The Towers of the Mall have been divided among the two parties of the same family. The residential tower has been left for Sardar Tanveer while the other two towers were inherited by the other two brothers. I did not publish this story only because I do not exploit the family matters for our readership or viewership.
Anyway the tensions were persisting even after the division of this very very high value. Certainly Sardar Tanveer Ilyas had been the face of Centaurus so far. He was leading the family in business and later in the politics. He remained Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir for some time and later was ousted through a no trust move that he alleges was orchestrated by none other than the establishment of Pakistan.
Therefore , keeping grudge alive and waiting to hit the iron at right time was natural desire of Sardar Tanveer Ilyas that he used on 30th April when he stormed into the offices of Pak Gulf Construction the parent company of Centaurus Mall to allegedly steal some documents of the ownership of the property.The guards resisted him that made a scene at this scenic structure of the capital city.

Brigadier R Imran ul Haqq and Col R Tipu Sultan are the security officers of the opposite party of Sardar Tanveer Ilyas.Both have alleged in the FIR that , ” Tanveer tortured the guard, he fired on Col R Tipe Sultan but it was missed. Tanveer was shouting and ordering his accomplices to shoot Dr Rashid Ilyas and Sardar Yasir Ilyas if they show up at the site.”
The site of the scene is office number 1708 in Tower A of the Mall consisting of 3 Towers. Col R Tipu Sultan further said that the accused had tried to attack and snatch the documents earlier as well and a case of that incident is already registered at PS Margalla.
Another FIR has been registered against Tanveer but the Police seems not to arrest him as in most of such cases where both parties are highly influential, the Police tries to give time to them to settle their dispute themselves.
I am very happy and satisfied that I do not belong to a rich family. Therefore there is no dispute of property between the brothers. Sardar brothers are supposed to solve the matter amicably without giving headlines to the media.
I suggest them simple solution. They are 3 brothers, the Mall has 3 Towers. One Tower for one Brother …….. Simple. Better take it and be satisfied. Lest their next generation be fighting with each other on further division of the property.
It will not be a big deal if the sons of Tanveer querrel with each other or the sons of Rashid and Yasir come at daggers drawn on one another. This is the time , end here for good, otherwise , for now the towers only are being divided, the time will come when apartments in the towers will be divided. It will not be strange if -1- Tanveer’s sons fight each other 2- Rashid’s and Yasir’s sons be enemies to one another.
They have another big project of housing scheme Taj Residentia. I dont know the status there. I can just hope that no dispute is there ……………………..Otherwise, only these 3 Brothers will not be affected but thousands of small and medium investors will lose the lifetime earnings in one go.
