Aisha Abid Hussain
‘Personal is Political’. A crucial aspect of my creative practice is working in an archival mode. The images are static yet moving, the words say nothing but they breathe.I move back and forth from traditional to contemporary mediums in order to explore the undiscovered aspects of art making in the region to a broader level.
Ali Baba
My intent is to explore the human form with regards to the negative and positive spaces formed through touch and within the human body. I try to engage the viewer on a very sensitive and emotional level through very silent, subtle and delicate imagery.
Anushka Rustomji
Anushka Rustomji practice is influenced by the themes of art history and erasure, in reference to colonization and diasporas.Through such imagery she makes cultural and historical connotations but ultimately leaving the interpretation of meaning up to the viewer.
Ghulam Hussain
Hussain is challenging the notion of high craft by integrating forms of low-craft, such as weaving and brick building, with the miniature style of painting. His work deals with the idea of folk art and the innocence of expression both combined and blended in a new manner.

Beneficent progression in life rarely comes easy. The list of things (external and internal) one needs to be mindful of for that would be extensive, but at some level, Hope, Opportunity & Chance factor in to a great degree. Simple lines have been used to represent these three basics of a life moving forward towards better.
Noor Ali Chagani
This body of work is about my personal experiences. It is about the lines, about the grey spaces, the dark structures and about the mark making. Structures that are in a state of transition, leaving traces and marks during their journey. Their visibility is temporary – almost disappearing. These objects are temporary, they do not exist for long; by making them, I freeze them in their contemporary state and immortalize them.
