East West, North South were seen together at one place at Qazi Shaukat Farm House in Margalah Town at the junction of twin cities Rawalpindi Islamabad thanks to The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) only that hosted an Annual Iftar Dinner in the honor of the Ambassadors, High Commissioners, Diplomats and Commercial Counselors in Islamabad.
RCCI President Saqib Rafiq and RCCI Group Leader Sohail Altaf gave a warm reception to the guests and thanked the ambassadors, dignitaries and businessmen for the overwhelming gathering.
The event saw a notable turnout of diplomats representing a diverse array of nations, adding a touch of international flair to the gathering.
A large number of ambassadors and diplomats were present on the occasion, including the Dean of Diplomatic Corp, Ambassador of Turkmenistan Atadjan Mulamov, Ambassadors of Azerbaijan, Palestine,Portugal, Egypt, Morocco,Jordon, Malaysia, Ethiopia, Kyrgyzstan, Finland, Iran, Romania, Kenya, Nepal, Korea, Italy and Zimbabwe. Diplomats of Uzbekistan, Turkish Republic of North Cyprus, Belarus and many other countries graced the event with their presence.

Saqib Rafiq in his welcome remarks said that annual Iftar Dinner is a regular feature of RCCI aiming to bring together esteemed members of the diplomatic corps and distinguished figures from the business fraternity.
Group Leader Sohail Altaf in his address demanded for ceasefire in Gaza and peaceful solution of Palestine. He also sent best wishes to Princess, Catherine of Wales, for her full recovery from cancer.
Senior Vice President Muhammad Hamza Sarosh, Vice President Mr. Faisal Shahzad, Former Presidents, members of the executive committee, Zia Ullah Shah, Raja Hanif, members of the Provincial Assembly (Punjab), Dr. Khurram Tariq, President of Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce, Tariq Jadoon, President Small Chamber of Commerce and Small Industries, Azhar-Ul-Islam Zafar, Vice President Islamabad Chamber, Director AIC, Ejaz Qamar Kiani, Qazi Shaukat Mahmood, Chairman Qazi Group of Companies were present.
Women entrepreneurs also attended the event in large number. Saboohi Hussain President, Women Chamber of Commerce Rawalpindi and representatives of district and local administrations, representatives of Anjuman-e-Tajiran, Women Members, representatives from TDAP also participated.
Editors and Bureau Chiefs from Print and Electronic Media and a large number of members and businessmen also attended the annual Iftar dinner. It was no doubt a well attended and memorable event in twin cities.
Live BBQ was arranged for the guests while almost all types of favorit Pakistani dishes were served in the dinner. The beautiful farm house with variety of attractions for the guests gave fascinating look when illuminated after Iftar. A farm of vegetables, a pond with a cottage in the middle and birds mainly pigeons amused the guests a lot.
