Editor “Pakistan in the World” Calls on Ambassador of Ethiopia – Shares Views on Strengthening of Bilateral Relations

Islamabad: Editor International Magazine and Web “Pakistan in the World”, Member Council of Pakistan Newspapers Editors (CPNE) Mr. Tazeen Akhtar called on the Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Pakistan, H.E Jemal Beker. He was warmly received by the Ambassador at later’s office in the first-ever Embassy  of Ethiopia. 
Both sides discussed matters of mutual interest and further shared their views on enhancing bilateral relations in various sectors. The Editors pledged his all-out cooperation to the Embassy of Ethiopia in strengthening the mutual ties.
The Editor suggested holding a round table of envoys of African countries serving in Pakistan in collaboration with the Embassy of Ethiopia. He said, “Pakistan is looking forward to renewing its ties with the African continent as the continent of the future. We are working on bilateral and multilateral cooperation on the press and media front for last two decades while Ethiopia is the present chair of African Unity. Both of us can join hands to host this conference to exchange ideas and prospects in this regard.”
Ambassador welcomes the proposal and assured his full cooperation to host the conference in near future. He said, ” Ethiopia is looking forward to building a strong partnership with Pakistan in all sectors including trade, economy, education, tourism, culture, etc.
Mr. Jemal Beker is the first Ambassador posted in Islamabad only a couple of months and in this short span of time is widely known in different circles of the Capital city thanks to his hard work and untiring diplomatic activities.
