Ambassador of Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E Mohamed Ebrahim Mohamed Abdulqader and spouse hosted a grand reception to celebrate the National (Independence) Day and the inauguration of H.M the King Hamad Bin Isa with Pakistani friends on 19th Dec 2022 at a local hotel that was attended by a large number of guests from all walks of life. Minister Defense Khawaja Mohammad Asif graced the event with his presence as chief guest who cut the specially designed cake to mark the celebration along with Ambassador and spouse.
His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in Sep 2022, ordered the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) led by Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa to provide urgent humanitarian relief aid to those affected by the heavy rains and floods in Pakistan.
Bahrain National Day is celebrated on two consecutive days of 16 and 17 Dec. Bahrain secured the independence after a long era of British rule. Bahrain comprises a beautiful archipelago of 50 natural islands and 33 artificial ones. On August 15, 1971, the two countries signed an agreement that freed Bahrain from being a British Protectorate. In Dec 1071, The Britain left, and Bahrain became an independent country.
At the reception, National anthems of both countries were played. The guest were served mouth watering dishes from Pakistani and Bahraini cousin. The whole staff of the Embassy was welcoming and took the best care of the guests. It was highly well managed and well organized reception for which Mr. & Mrs. Ambassador, other officials and staff of the Embassy deserve appreciations.
