ISLAMABAD: The Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Riyad Al-Malky expressed his sincere condolences to the victims of the explosion in the Republic of Pakistan and wished a speedy recovery to the injured. He sent the condolences while he was about to speak at the 18th special session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation
He started his speech with deep appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Iraq for their initiative to hold this meeting to study the repeated attacks on our true Islamic religion, where he affirmed On the firm and firm position of the State of Palestine in condemning these practices that express hostility, racism and hatred towards the true Islamic religion and the Holy Quran, and completely contradict the freedom of opinion and expression and affect the feelings of millions of Muslims.
He stressed the importance of sending a clear message to the whole world that the Islamic nation is united in its condemnation and rejection of these hostile practices and behaviors and the infringement of their religious beliefs, and they call on states to criminalize contempt of religions and to prevent all provocative and extremist acts related to them, which constitutes a basis for protecting peaceful coexistence and the principles of human rights.
Minister stressed that our response as an Islamic nation to these repeated attacks is to take a serious stand to address the root causes of the phenomenon of hostility and hatred of Islam and to develop a clear program to address it, including confronting the extremist parties that feed and support it.
He  referred to the repeated attacks and violations in Palestine by burning and tearing copies of the Holy Qur’an at the hands of the Israeli colonizers in front of everyone’s eyes, attacking and desecrating mosques and trying to burn them without any serious reaction, and the most dangerous of that is the daily attack on the sanctity of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and its desecration by The colonialists who constantly threaten to demolish it and build the alleged temple in its place, and seek, with the support of many countries, to impose their religious narrative and myths on it, in addition to their endeavors to change its character and status and impose spatial and temporal division, as they did on the Ibrahimi Mosque.
And that these repeated attacks on Christian and Islamic religious places and the prevention of the exercise of freedom of worship for the followers of these religions specifically in the Holy City of Jerusalem comes in a racist context in which the occupation demands the whole world to submit to the myth it spreads of the superiority of a particular religion or civilization over other religions and civilizations.
H.E. stressed that all this is being done in full view of the world, with the clear support of countries that provide continuous protection for the Israeli occupation and its crimes, and went so far as to give biblical names to the Holy Mosque, such as the Temple Mount, in support of the false Zionist narrative, in clear and explicit violation of international legitimacy and historical and legal facts. Nevertheless, we still see that confronting it does not rise to the level of the challenge, which encourages extremists in other parts of the world to go too far and disregard the feelings of Muslims.
And he stressed the need for a comprehensive movement to confront this frenzied campaign, of which Palestine comes at the heart, and it will not end except with the end of the racist colonial occupation and its effects.
H.E. stressed the need for the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to launch a wide campaign at all levels to confront anyone who tries to underestimate or insult our true religion and to respond collectively with political, legal and economic steps against it, and to work to adopt international legislation to condemn and criminalize this phenomenon and to demand states to shoulder their responsibilities, and to confront extremism, violence, racism and hatred. And cooperation in building bridges of tolerance and peaceful coexistence among all peoples
