German young man has been arrested in Islamabad after physical attack on French lady diplomat at the outside of the only Five Star Hotel in capital city on Thursday, 06 June. Secretariat Police has arrested the German citizen and initiated the investigation where this German citizen came from and how his mental condition is, fit or abnormal?
Germany and France were at daggers drawn in the World Wars but after that both became friends and now they celebrate the Day of Friendship every year but seems this citizen does not know the history.
The eyewitnesses narrated the incident as , 26 years old Leon, the German citizen had a collision with French Lady Diplomat at the main entrance of the hotel just because of walking across.
It was a minor thing and can happen between any while passing by but Mr. Leon took it very serious and did not respect that the person here is a lady. He manhandled the lady and beat her severely before the guards around saved the lady.
Earlier, Leon came to hotel and asked for bar but he was told that the bar is closed. That embarrassed Leon and he was leaving the hotel in disturb condition when the lady unfortunately came across.
Later , Leon was handed over to Police and the lady has registered her statement. The identity of the lady is not being shared for her privacy and safety. Leon is being investigated on who he is, where he came from? The investigation officer was not reachable to get more details.
The accused Leon is said to share that he is from Sahiwal , a city in central Punjab. He is wearing Pakistani dress as can be seen in the picture. It seems he is from some German Pakistani joint family.
Pakistan is Islamic Republic where liquor is hard to be found and used easily. At the same time, it is available in some hotels meant only for the foreigners or local christian community who possess special permits for this purpose.
