Corona’s third wave is playing havoc in the world but it is not a curse for all. Many, especially which are related to medical business, have made it a blessing in disguise. They are making money out of the threat to lives of the people. Earlier they made wealth by selling masks and other things on inflated rates and now they are “serving” overseas or other Pakistanis who have to travel abroad especially to Europe.
Some authorized laboratories have been found issuing negative test results to those who were declared positive from other labs. Islamabad Diagnostic and Shaheen Labs are two of such labs that are facilitating the positives with negative certificates.
Abdul Hannan Sani, 38, a British Pakistani was tested positive by Premium Diagnostics Lab of Mall Road, Sadar, Rawalpindi but in few hours he secured Negative report from Islamabad Diagnostic. He had first test at Premium, on 2 April 2021, 5-35 evening time. It was Positive. He contacted Islamabad Diagnostics, from where he was certified negative on at 12-40 night time on 3 April 2021.

Another Shaukat Mehmood, 38, who was to travel to Istanbul with Emirates, was certified negative by Shaheed Medical. He was tested there at 6-02 PM and negative report issued at 11-37 PM. Earlier he was tested at Crown Diagnostic Center Lab and declared positive on same date.
Insiders of Crown Diagnostic shared information that Shaukat Mehmood insisted upon the staff to give negative result as he has to travel next day. Mehmood is also said to state that some laboratories take money upto 20 thousand rupees and give desired results that is negative that he received after few hours from Shaheen.
