Larger Trade Delegation from Republic of Korea Arrives Pakistan on Week Long Visit

Islamabad: 18 Feb 2023 – Former ambassador of south Korea Dr Song Jong Hwan arrived Islamabad with a business delegation from his country. The delegation consists of 40 members who belong to different industries and companies of south Korea. This is the biggest trade delegation of south Korea on Pakistan visit.

The delegation will stay in Pakistan from 18 to 25 Feb and will meet officials of government and business leaders. Dr Song Jong Hwan remained ambassador to Pakistan from June 2013 to May 2016. He is a friend of Pakistan. He attaches great value to close cooperation with Pakistan. He appreciates that Pakistan helped South Korea in 19 50 and 1960 during war and during the developmental phase of his country.

The delegation will visit Lahore and Karachi as well. Many companies of Republic of Korea are already working in Pakistan and playing their role in the development and economic growth of the country.
