Islamabad – Dr Afshan Malik hosted Farewell in honor of Mr. Gokhan UMUT, Country Representative of Turkish Aid Cooperation Agency (TIKA) at Islamabad Club on 29 Oct 2021 – National Day of Turkey. Some media friends including Editor Pakistan in the World Mr. Tazeen Akhtar also attended the farewell.
At this occasion DHM Palestine Embassy Mr Nadir Al-Turk was also present.
Mr. Gokhan UMUT served in Pakistan to help Turkish Government and Companies in Evaluation of Projects and extended research and information assistance to Turkish entrepreneurs, investors for JVs and other areas.
To the questions of media persons, He termed his stay in Pakistan very productive and constructive as many projects were initiated and accomplished during his tenure here.
Dr Afshan Malik presented him the book on Pak-Turkey brotherhood authored by her a year ago. She said that we are truly two countries but one nation. Our hearts beat together and our sorrows and joys are common.
The participants wished Mr. UMUT the best for his future assignments.
