Pakistan Hungary Sign MoUs on Visa Exemption for Diplomats, Cultural & Heritage Cooperation

ISLAMABAD: 17 April 2025 – Deputy PM/FM Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar welcomed Hungarian FM & Trade Minister Péter Szijjártó  at the Foreign Ministry.

The Ministers held a productive one on one meeting followed by delegation level talks comprehensively covering the wide agenda.

* ⁠The two sides noted the impressive growth in bilateral relations and exchanged views on deepening cooperation in trade, energy, agriculture, science, culture & education.

* ⁠Views were also exchanged on important regional and global issues. The Ministers agreed to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in multilateral fora.

* ⁠Agreements/MoUs signed:

-Cultural Exchange Program (2025-27)
-Archaeology & Heritage Cooperation
-Visa exemption for diplomatic passports

Marking 60 years of diplomatic relations, the visit reinforced bilateral strong partnership & commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation for peace, security & common prosperity .
