Islamabad; H.E. Ambassador of Turkmenistan, Mr. Atadjan Movlamov called on Mr. Nadeem Babar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Petroleum at Petroleum Division on 19 Feb 2020.
The Ambassador apprised the Mr. Babar on the progress made on the TAPI Pipeline Project and its benefits to the region and Pakistan. TAPI Pipeline offers diversification of energy imports, social infrastructure programmes, and creation of jobs for all participating countries.
Mr. Nadeem Babar appreciated the progress made on the TAPI pipeline and reiterated the support of the present government towards the Project. SAPM also stressed the need to resolve all the outstanding issues for the early implementation of the project.
