ISLAMABAD: The Tunisian Chamber of Industry & Commerce and Islamabad CCI have signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two chambers under the “Sister cities initiative”.This was shared in a follow up meeting at the Embassy of Tunisia in Pakistan. Deputy Head of Mission, Ms Dorsaf Maaroufi Afraoui attended the meeting of the visiting delegation. Mr. Hamid Asghar Khan Director General Ministry of Foreign Affairs Africa Desk was also present in the meeting.
The sides discussed the outcomes of the working visit by a delegation from ICCI from 10 to 15 January 2025.
Pakistani delegation presented a presentation about its participation in the Spring Coffee Festival in Tunisia and regarding their contract of meetings with the Tunisia Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
The Pakistani delegation expressed its comfort in the business climate in our country and its determination to further broaden the horizon of cooperation in the coming period.
Honorary Consulates of the Republic of Tunisia both Lahore and Peshawar, officials and members of Islamabad Chamber of Industry and Commerce attended the meeting.
Former caretaker information minister Murtaza Solangi was invited as guest. Group leader of businessmen Mr. Zafar Bakhtawari was also present.
