Pakistani Business Delegation Visit Ukraine – Ambassador Sheds Light on Bilateral Business Dynamics

Islamabad; A grand reception was held on 7th October in honour of the 52 member delegation of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kiev Ukraine. The group is visiting Ukraine from 6 to 15 Oct 2021.

Ambassador Dr. Noel I. Khokhar briefed the visiting delegation about trade dynamics between Pakistan and Ukraine, and efforts of the Mission to promote trade ties between the two countries. It was added that despite pandemic, in 2020 Pak-Ukraine trade registered a three-fold increase.

Ambassador emphasized the important role of FPCCI and all other Chambers of Pakistan in strengthening bilateral trade ties and increasing Pakistan’s exports to Ukraine.

Later on the delegation was entertained with Pakistani traditional cuisine and music.

Editor Tazeen Akhtar has appreciated the business to business relations’ improvement between the two countries. He said that we at our press orgs Daily Azkaar Islamabad and Monthly “Pakistan in the World” have always advocated for multifaceted trade and economic ties including civil side as well. This visit depicts that the authorities in both countries have started attaching importance to increase the level in civil sector.

The delegation along with Mr. Zeb Alam Khan, Deputy Ambassador met with Mr. Gennadiy Chyzhykov, President Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ukraine. Matters pertaining to promotion of Pak-Ukraine trade and economic cooperation were discussed.

The group of the FPCCI delegation along with Ambassador Dr. Noel I Khokhar had a meeting with H.E. Taras Dzoba Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy Ukraine. During the meeting, steps for promoting Pak-Ukraine agriculture cooperation were discussed.
