Rawalpindi, 7 December 2024:On 6-7 December 2024, 22 terrorists were sent to hell in three separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.
An intelligence based operation was conducted by the Security Forces in general area Gul Imam, Tank District on reported presence of khwarij. During the conduct of operation, own troops effectively engaged the khwarij location and resultantly, nine Khwarij were sent to hell, while six got injured.
In another operation, conducted by the Security Forces in North Waziristan District, ten Khwarij were successfully neutralized.
In a third encounter, security forces thwarted Khwarij attempt to attack a security forces’ post in Thall District and killed three khwarij, however, during the intense fire exchange, 6 brave sons of soil, having fought gallantly, paid the ultimate sacrifice and embraced Shahadat.
Sanitization operations are being conducted to eliminate any other Kharji found in the area as Security Forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe-out the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday lauded the officers and personnel of security forces for the successful operations against Khawarij terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In separate statements, the president and the prime minister commended the professional capabilities of the security forces for killing 9 terrorists in Gul Imam, Tank; 10 in North Waziristan; and 3 others in Thal District, besides capturing 6 injured militants.
The president said eliminating 22 terrorists in various operations was a great achievement of the security forces. President Zardari and PM Shehbaz expressed grief over the martyrdom of 6 security personnel during the operation and prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks in Jannah and patience for their families to bear the loss with equanimity.
“The entire nation, including myself, pays tribute to the security personnel who sacrificed their lives for the motherland,” the prime minister added.
The president and the prime minister resolved to continue the fight against the scourge of terrorism until complete eradication. “The entire nation stands shoulder to shoulder with the security forces in this war against terrorism,” they affirmed.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has praised the security forces for 3 successful operations against Fitna-ul-Khawarij terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that Pakistan’s brave security forces eliminated 22 Khawarij terrorists, and foiled their nefarious intentions by carrying out timely operations.
The Interior Minister has paid homage to the 6 security forces personnel who lost their lives and expressed heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs. He said that the nation salutes the martyred soldiers. He said that the martyred soldiers sacrificed their lives while performing their duty and sent 22 Khawarji terrorists to hell.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that we stand with the families of the martyrs and will always be with them. The Interior Minister emphasized that we will not rest until the complete elimination of Khawarji terrorists. He stated that the menace of Khawarji terrorists will be completely eliminated with the support of the nation.
