ISLAMABAD: 25 Nov 2024 – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Pakistan on a three-day visit. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif received the President of Belarus at PAF Noor Khan Air Base.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ataullah Tarar and senior government officials were also present on the occasion. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif introduced the president of Belarus to the cabinet members while children dressed in traditional clothes presented him with bouquets.
Memorandums of understanding will be signed to increase cooperation in various fields. A 68-member high-level delegation led by the Foreign Minister of Belarus reached Pakistan yesterday.
The delegation includes important ministers of the Cabinet of Belarus, well-known businessmen and investors. The visit of the President of Belarus to Pakistan reflects the strong and growing partnership between the two countries.
The President of Belarus is visiting Pakistan from 25 to 27 November 2024 at the invitation of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif. During the visit of the President of Belarus to Pakistan, there will be a meeting between President Lukashenko and Prime Minister Mohammad Shahbaz Sharif, and there will also be discussions between the two countries at the level of delegations.
