Recognition of Kyrgyz Medical Universities by Pakistan Discussed at High Level

Islamabad; 17 Feb 2021 – The Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Mr. A. Beishenaliev met with the Dr. Faisal Sultan, Assistant to Prime Minister on Health and Dr. Arshad Taqi, President of the Pakistan Medical Commission as well as  visited the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in Islamabad during the working visit to Pakistan.

The sides discussed the development of cooperation in the field of higher medical education, licensing and accreditation of medical universities of the Kyrgyz Republic, improving conditions for the training of Pakistani students in Kyrgyzstan, recognition by the Pakistani Medical Commission of medical universities of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as the possibility of Pakistan’s provision of humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan in connection with pandemic Covid-19.
